Vibrant colors of a winter sunset sky reflected on the moving surface of ocean ripples, as they swirled and followed each other in succession to break on the beach, allowed me to explore the effects and nuances of  shimmering atmospheric light in nature. The whole painting is constructed of paint brush marks 2 inches long and ¼ of an inch wide.
